However, if you have decided to pack your valuable things by yourself or with the help of your family, here is the list of packing materials you should have in mind to be prepared for moving a small 1-2 bedroom apartment with small amount of belongings:

7 small removal boxes (12"x12"x12") 9 medium removal boxes (18"x13"x13") 3 wardrobe boxes (40"x18"x20")

2 book removal boxes (18"x18"x10")

2 large removal box (18"x18"x20")

1 pack of anti acid tissue sheets (100 units)

1 bubble wrap roll (0,5mx10m)

1 packing tape roll

1 permanent marker to mark box contents

First-in, Last-out

Make sure that boxes containing things you will need least, are loaded first. Also pack an 'essentials' box containing the most important items that you will need during the last night before you move and during the first night in your new home.

And remember to disconnect your utilities and inform related companies and people that you are changing address. You do not want to go to your previous home just to pick up your favourite newspaper, do you?
